Failed to start transport with error IMA_RESULT_PORT_IN_USE - error

ERROR :
Error: Event ID 7024 (2147483705)
and
Event ID 3592 - Port In-Use
Cause
1.The Citrix XML Service has a port conflict with another application or service. This Citrix XML conflict prevents the IMA Service from starting.
2. The XML port selected is in use by another application or service. This error would happen if one selected port 1494 (the ICA listener) or say SQL Server was installed with the default port of 1433.


Resolution
1. Verify that the XML ports on all of the Citrix servers are not conflicting with another port in use.
Use ctxxmlss to change the Citrix XML Service port number.
ctxxmlss [/rnnn] [/u] [/knnn] [/?]
Options:
• /rnnn - Changes the port number for the Citrix XML Service to nnn.
• /u - Unloads Citrix XML Service from memory.
• /knnn - Keeps the connection alive for nnn seconds. The default is nine seconds.
2. Check the connection to the data store.

Run Netstat – a to query a list of used ports. Resolve the port conflict and or choose an available port.
Ignore the administrators comment, as one is most likely a Citrix Administrator. If you recently unregistered the Citrix XML port and are trying to register the XML Service to the same or another port, wait a minute or so, and retry the command.
Note: In case you do want to use XML Port 80 sharing with IIS:
1. Make sure Wpnbr.dll is located in the \Inetpub\Scripts folder.
2. Stop IIS.
3. Change the XML port back to 80.
4. Restart the server.
