Logon to the cluster Administrator/failover cluster administration
(2008 server)
Ø
Check the resource on the cluster node
Ø
Turn off the passive node of cluster
Ø
Logon to the active node of cluster
Ø
Go to Command Prompt and
type the following command

Ø Now
List volumes by using the following command
Dispart list
volume
Ø Select
the volume to extend by using Select volume (volume number)
Ø Now
Use Extend command to extend the
disk to the allocated space.
Note ** no disk related services like chkdsk or defragmentation
should not be running on the servers
****Passive node should be offline while doing this.
