Identify the server name

o Do the qfarm /load and determine the server load for that server

o Login to the identified server through the console.

o Monitor the Performance of the server by going to the Task Manager

If the CPU usage is found high

o Get to the process tab and sort the tab for CPU usage

o Try and identify the highly utilized process for CPU

o If the usage is found for any users, identify the user and try sending him message through the console requesting him to log off and log in back to bring down the CPU spike.

o If the usage is for any services, identify the service, monitor the event logs and take appropriate actions against that particular service or application causing the spike.

If the Memory usage is found high

o Get to the process tab and sort the tab for Memory usage

o Try and identify the highly utilized process for memory

o If the usage is found for any users, identify the user and try sending him message through the console requesting him to log off and log in back to bring down the memory spike.

o If the usage is for any services, identify the service, monitor the event logs and take appropriate actions against that particular service or application causing the spike.
