q Deploy Guest from template

q From Guest Properties add the data disk

q Power on Guest. Login with isadmin/blank password

q Change CDROM drive letter to E:\

q Initialize data drive, Format and leave as Basic Disk

q Configure network adapters, rename Local Area Connection to Production

q Check binding order and make Production first, Backup second

q Move page file from C:\ to D:\ as fixed size and change memory dumps to root of data drive

q Reboot Guest

q Add systems tools you would add to a physical server. (sms client, ovo, sav, etc…)

q Open VMWare Tools and check Time synchronization between the virtual machine and console operating system

q Check that Automatic Updates service is set to Manual

q Install Additional Windows components as requested ___________________________________________

q Install Additional software on D:\ as requested ________________________________________________

q Add server to domain: ____________________________________________

q Append DNS suffixes: ____________________________________________

q Add to local administrators: WSS&A, ________________________________________________________

q Change isadmin account password
