Emc san client setup

This assumes a host has the fiber cards and fiber connectivity to the SAN
Install the qlogic drivers
The software is on util01:/usr/local/store/Qlogic
a. copy that to /root on the host
b. mkdir /usr/local/src/qlogic
c. cd /usr/local/src/qlogic
d. tar xf ~/qlafc-linux-8.00.03-6-install.tgz
e cd qlafc-linux-8.00.03-6-install/
f. ./qlinstall
2. Install naviagent
a. copy the 2 files in util01:/usr/local/store/naviagent to /root on the new system
b. rpm -ivh naviagent-6.6.0.3.8-1.i386.rpm
c. mv agent.config /etc/Navisphere/
d. Edit /agentID.txt to have the following
<hostname>
<IP>
3. Install EMC powerpath
a. copy util01:/usr/local/store/EMC/EMCpower.LINUX.4.4.0-343.tar to /root on the host
b. cd /root
c. mkdir EMC
d. cd EMC
e tar xf ../EMCpower.LINUX.4.4.0-343.tar
f. rpm -ivh EMCpower.LINUX-4.4.0-343.rhel.i386.rpm
g. emcpreg -add key <license key>
4. set the target binding
a. run scli
b. 6: Target Persistent Binding
c. 2: Set Target Persistent Binding
d. 2: Bind All Target(s)
e. 1: All HBAs
f. 0, and 13 to quit
5. Reboot the host
6. If the SAN and switches have been configured, you should see disks in /proc/scsi/scsi
