How to check if my VM has a memory limit
11:27 PM
There have been a couple instances where
customers have complained about poor performance or high Memory
utilization, after looking at the vSphere console we discovered Memory
limits or CAPs limiting a servers Memory.
Here are the steps you can take to view if your Client's server has a memory limit
1. Login to vSphere in any data center including Cloud
(note Cloud is not exempt from being affected)
2. Right click on a VM Host to find, "Edit Settings..."
3. Navigate to the resource tab and select, "Memory"
Here you can see if there is a memory limit
If you need a limit removed check with the VM team
