Publishing Firefox as a Streaming Application in Citrix XenApp 6.5
8:54 PM- Log on to the XenAppServer machine as the CitrixAdmin user.
- Use the Delivery Services Console to start publishing Mozilla Firefox.
- Click Start > All Programs > Citrix > Management Consoles > Delivery Services Console.
- Expand the XenApp > Farm.
- Right-click Applications and click Publish application.
- Click Next to begin the Publish Application wizard.
- Type Mozilla Firefox in the Display Name field and click Next.
- Configure the application to be streamed if possible otherwise accessed from a server.Specify for it to be a streamed to server application.
- Verify that Application is selected as the type of application to publish and clickStreamed if possible, otherwise accessed from a server.
- Select Streamed to Server in the Server application type drop-down menu and then ClickNext.
- Use the \\server\Profiles\Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Reader profile and specifyMozilla Firefox as the application to launch from the profile.
- Click Browse, navigate to the \\servername\Profiles\Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Reader\ folder and double-clickthe Mozilla Firefox with Adobe Reader.profile file.
- Select Mozilla Firefox in the Application to launch from the Citrix streaming application profile drop-down menu.
- Click Next.
- Click Next to use the default settings for offline access.
- Publish the application to the Servers.
- Click Add to open the Select Servers screen.
- Double-click Firefox to select it as the servers on which to publish the application and click OK.
- Click Next to proceed to the Users screen.
- Publish Mozilla Firefox to all domain users.
- Click Add to open the Select Users or Groups screen.
- Click Next to proceed to the Shortcut presentation screen.
- Complete the Publish Application wizard using the default settings.
- Click Next and then click Finish to complete the Publish Application wizard.
