Testing the Published Applications in Citrix XenApp 6.5

    1. Login with any CTXuser part of CTXgroup1
    2. Configure Hotplugin client
    3. Connect Hot-plugin client ( Login) and provide CTXuser details
    4. Click OK to log on.
      (Open the Notepad, Microsoft Word and XenAppServer Desktop published resources to ensure that they were published correctly. Do not close them.)
    5. Click the Citrix online plug-in icon and select Desktops > XenAppServer Desktop to launch the XenAppServer Desktop.
    6. Click the Citrix online plug-in icon in the navigation tray and select Applications > Notepad to launch Notepad.
    7. Click the Citrix online plug-in icon and select Applications > Microsoft Office > Microsoft word to launch the application.
    Verify that all of the published resources launch successfully. Do not close the applications. Testing Workspace Control
    1. Switch to XenAppServer Machine
    2. Log on to the XenAppServer machine as the Citrix Administrator user
    3. Launch the Delivery Services Console on the XenAppServer machine.
    4. Click Start > All Programs > Citrix > Management Consoles > Delivery Services Console.
    5. Expand the XenApp > Coolidge nodes and click the Servers node.
    6. Click the Users tab to view the current sessions.
    7. Verify that the Microsoft Office sessions exist for the CTXUSER user.
    8. Send a message to the CTXUSER session warning that "This session will be disconnected soon.
    9. Right-click on the Microsoft Word session and select Send message. The Message window opens.
    10. Type This session will be disconnected soon. In the Message field and click OK.
    11. Switch to the Windows 7 machine to view and accept the message and then switch back to the XenAppServer machine.
    12. Log off the Microsoft Word session using the Delivery Services Console and then switch to the Windows 7 machine to verify that the Microsoft Word application closed.
    13. Right click the Microsoft Word session, click Log off and then click Yes to confirm.
    14. Switch to Windows 7 Machine, Close all applications
    15. Open Internet Explorer
    16. Type http://XenAppserver/Citrix/XenApp
    17. Login with CtxUser of CTXuser2 group
    18. Test whether you are able to launch applications
